Case Study: PolicyPitch.com

Project: ElectionHub iPhone Application

   

Company Background:

Policypitch.com is a crowd-powered platform that allows ordinary citizens to pitch new policy ideas at the local and state level, collaborate with others to refine and promote their policies, and transform that online communication into real world action.

The Problem:

PolicyPitch.com recognized the lack of a one-stop source for the information needed by the electorate to make informed voting decisions.  Currently, to find out what the candidate believe, who they have collected funds from, and what the community is saying about them, one would have to go to many different sources. 

The Susco Solution:

Susco Solutions developed a iPhone application called ElectionHub for PolicyPitch.com.  This application delivers a wide range of information about the candidates, allows us to poll the users once a week, and allows for users to comment on the candidates' platforms, spending, etc.  This application currently cover the New Orleans 2010 Mayoral and City Council races.
