Case Study: The IHS Group

Project: Web-Based Payroll Management System

Company Background:

The IHS Group is a large hospitality staffing company that specializes in the hotel and gaming industries  They have offices in 5 major cities and have clients across the country. 

The Problem:

Each week, the company must fill out, validate and then process hundreds of employee timesheets.  This process was time consuming and inefficient, as it required the manual input of time, the manual creation of QuickBooks check entries, and the manual creation of invoice for their customers.

The Susco Solution:

Susco Solutions assessed their processes, made recommendations, and then implemented a custom web application to improve their process.  Now IHS staff simply adds customers and laborers into their new database and then direct their customers to go online and fill in the timesheets.  Once this process is completed, invoices to customers, ACH payments to laborers and check entries into Quick Books are automatically generated. 

This new process saves IHS 80 hours per week and has allowed them to grow their workforce and customer base without worries of increasing their accounting staff.
